The Lions Club of Odessa & District / Loyalist Township Remembrance Day Service in Wilton will be different this year. Provincial Covid-19 guidelines are discouraging the public to attend in person so we have planned a video stream that can be watched from home.

Fall Brush Collection Begins on October 13, 2020

Public Works crews will collect brush throughout mainland Loyalist Township beginning on Tuesday, October 13.  Brush for collection must be placed at the roadside no later than 7:00 a.m. on October 13. Yard waste is not included in this collection.

  • Each household is allowed a maximum of one half-ton truckload. 
  • Allowable brush has a maximum diameter of four inches (4”). Smaller branches must be bundled.

Loyalist Township to offer residents service line protection

In November 2019, Loyalist Township partnered with Service Line Warranties of Canada (SLWC) to provide service line warranty for residents. Through SLWC, residents have the option to purchase coverage for damage to the buried water and sewer lines they are responsible for on their own property.
