Highway 33/Bath Road Construction Project Update
On July 3, Coco Paving provided an update to the progress of the Highway 33/Bath Road reconstruction, an MTO project.
Coco anticipates work on Highway 33 between County Road 4 and County Road 6 to be complete by the end of July, and between Collins Bay Road and Collins Bay Creek to be complete by mid-July.
Coco will then focus their efforts to complete the section between County Road 6 and Coronation Boulevard by the end of September.
Locates for underground infrastructure (gas, hydro, water, sewer) have been completed. Coco is requesting that any property owner who has privately-owned buried infrastructure (water line, power line, phone line) either extending under the road or on private property within five metres of the roadway, please inform their project manager Rob Stewart, whose contact information is at the bottom of this notice.
Please be advised that milling and paving operations may result in traffic delays of 45 to 60 minutes. A pace vehicle will be used to guide traffic through the construction zone during these lane closures. Motorists may experience other traffic delays of up to 30 minutes' duration elsewhere on the project.
Sign message boards will be placed on Bath Road advising of the delays.
