Feel free to cruise through the various public services we have to offer. Our staff is always available during regular office hours (8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday – Friday)(please note, the office closes at 12:15 each Friday May through August) to answer any questions you may have regarding our operations.

Loyalist Township has 2 landfill sites:

Payment at Landfill sites - Cash & Cheques ONLY

   Violet Landfill Site - 1346 Violet Rd
   Open Tues. to Thurs. 8:00 am to 4:30 pm (cash or cheques only)

   Amherst Island Landfill Site
   Open  Wed. - 11:00 am to  2:00 pm
             Sat.  -  10:00 am to 12:00 pm
             Sun. -   2:00  pm to  4:00 pm
(Please Note: Amherst Island residents must take their own garbage and recyclables to the Landfill site.)
