The Dog Control By-Law This document uses Adobe Acrobat provides that any owner of a dog that defecates in a public place must clean up the dog droppings and dispose of it in a sanitary manner. There is a $75.00 fine for this offence.

Dogs must also not be permitted to run at large at any time and must be on a leash when in a public park. There is a $75.00 fine for this offence.
