Parks Maintenance

• Playground maintenance is done on a monthly basis through out the year. If you see any deficiencies such as, loose swings, broken parts, vandalism, hardening of the pea-gravel base, please contact the Maintenance Supervisor at 613-389-3648 x204.
  
• Garbage cans will be emptied 3 times per week or on an as needed basis. Please note that garbage cans are for individuals using the park and are not for your household garbage.  Any misuse or illegal dumping can be reported to the Township at 613-386-3833 x123. Bag tags may be purchased in person at the WJ Henderson Recreation Centre during normal business hours.
  
• Grass is cut on an as needed basis and will begin as the weather permits. Ball and soccer fields will be cut twice per week during the growing season, and less frequent during dryer times. Please be aware that parks staff will need to perform maintenance duties while the area is in use. Please respect the equipment and/or staff and stay clear of any dangers that may be present. Staff will also respect your space and ensure a safe distance is kept between machine and user of the park.
