Lawn-Watering and Outdoor Water Use

Residents who receive municipal water are advised that Loyalist Township has established a peak water demand management plan. As per Bylaw 2006-46, every year from May 1 to September 30, outdoor water use is restricted to odd and even numbered days, based on the civic address of the property.

Occasionally, weather conditions, emergencies or facility maintenance may require an expansion of water use restrictions. The Township reserves the right to request full outdoor watering restrictions including watering should the need arise, within each service area.
