The Building Department is also responsible for property standards enforcement. The purposse of the Property Standards By-law are:

1. Describe standards for the maintenance and occupancy of property.
2. Require property to be repaired and maintained in conformity with the prescribed standards/
3. Prohibit the occupany or use of property that does not conform to the standards.
