Accepted Large Items

White goods (stoves, refrigerators, etc.), bicycle frames or similar metal goods, large furniture, fencing (posts removed), aluminum wall siding and carpet.

Loyalist Township residents may dispose of refrigeration units containing CFC's free of charge during the Free "Large Item" Disposal Days.  The Township will pay for the safe and environmentaly friendly removal of CFC's from these items.  These items include refrigerators, freezers and air conditioners.

Materials NOT Accepted

· All recyclable material as defined by KARC
· Construction & building materials (shingles, etc.)
· Drywall & other gypsum products
· Vinyl siding, vinyl flooring & other vinyl products
· Bricks, concrete blocks & other concrete masonry products
· Asphalt & asphalt type products
· Manufactured or pressure treated wood products (chipboard, etc.)
· Logs, stumps, brush, lawn & garden waste
· Hazardous waste as defined by KARC
· Medical & Dental clinic waste
