During the Special Council Meeting on November 9, 2023, Loyalist Township Council endorsed the renewal of the W.J. Henderson Recreation Centre which will include the construction of a new aquatic facility.
During the meeting, Council received a Validation Report which summarized the proposed design for the W.J. Henderson Recreation Centre Renewal project along with the costs, strategies, and timelines for the implementation for the first phase of the project.

Notice of Construction: County Road 7

Please be advised that GIP Paving Inc. has been contracted by the County of Lennox & Addington to rehabilitate County Road 7 between County Road 2 and the CN Tracks.
The reconstruction involves ditching, drainage improvements, concrete curb and re-paving asphalt pavement.
To facilitate the work, traffic will be reduced to one lane in multiple locations with the use of flag personnel.
The work is planned to commence on Thursday, May 9th and is scheduled to be completed by September 2024.

Update to Recreation Fees and Facility Rental Rates

On April 23rd, 2024, Council enacted and passed an update to the Miscellaneous Fees and Charges By-law. This by-law establishes updates to recreation and facility rental rates and fees which come into effect as of May 1st, 2024.
This is the first update to facility rental rates and recreation fees since before the pandemic.
