Voter Information

As of 11:40 a.m. on Monday, October 22, 22% of registered voters in Loyalist Township have cast their ballot in the 2018 Municipal Election.

Voting Methods

Voters can cast their ballot electronically by phone or internet, between October 15, 2018, at 10 a.m., until the polls close at 8 p.m., Monday, October 22. This is an accessible, environmentally-friendly and convenient method of voting and allows voters to vote from anywhere.

When voting online, please ensure that you enter the website address (provided in your Voter Information Letter) into the web address bar, and not a search bar, such as Google. Please see the image below for an example (click the image to view larger).

If you would like to try voting by internet, please stop by the Voter Help Centre at the Odessa Municipal Office during regular office hours in the week of October 15-19, 2018. Township staff will be available to assist if you have questions.

Voters will also be able to attend a voting station on October 22, 2018 and vote by paper. A ballot scanning and voting system will be used on election day at the voting station. Voters will mark a paper ballot which is then inserted into the vote tabulator. After voting closes at 8:00 PM on October 22, 2018, the tabulators will produce the results automatically.
